AYMFC: ALL STARS CROWNED CHAMPIONS AS AMDO UNITED CLAIMED THIRD SPOT



Last year runners up All Stars fc have been crowned champions of the tournament after defeating Barcelona Fc in the final played on Friday.
In one of the historically contested finals in southern Gombe, All Stars Fc captain Paul Haggai stroke  15 minutes into the game to put his side ahead and stood as the only goal that won the competition for his side despites Barcelona’s array of attacks in the game.
All Stars Fc lost to Kalorgu Fc in the final of the first edition of the competition last year and decided to up their game this time around.
They have appeared twice in the final of the competition and won the second edition.
Meanwhile, before the final match was played, Amdo United claimed the 3rd position in the tournament after trashing Kampandi United 4-1 in third place match.
Kampandi United took the lead after 6minutes into the game when Ekely put in a solo effort to put his side ahead. But their lead lasted for 17 minutes before Shakno Equalized for Amdo United in the 23rd minutes.
Eight minutes into the second half, Shakno run past 3 of Kampandi’s defenders to score his side’s 2nd goal to claim the lead.
Ely who was silent in the game, increased his side Amdo United’s lead to 3-1 after scoring from inside the box .
Ashaku Samaila put the game beyond Kampandi United by adding the 4th goal in the 80th minutes.
There were prices won by clubs and individuals and they were presented with gifts of various levels.
These includes;

Highest goals scored – Yakubu Samaila 7goals (Amdo United)
