UCL: 5 ENGLISH CLUBS ADVANCED TO THE ROUND OF 16 AS RONALDO SET ANOTHER SCORING RECORD



All the five clubs from the English premier league have advanced to the round of 16 of the UEFA champions league after six matches from the group stage.
Both Tottenham hotspur, Manchester city, Chelsea qualified to the round of 16 before the last fixtures of the group stages only wanted to finish as group leaders. Manchester United and Liverpool booked their places after their last games.
Manchester city, Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool all finished top of their respective groups and it is the first time four English teams topped their groups in a single campaign since 2006/2007 season.
Tottenham topped a difficult group that had the likes of the defending champions Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund with 16 points more than any of them.
this is not the first time five teams from the English league are advancing to the knock out stages of the champions league but all eyes will be on watching how these clubs will do in the next round.
