Chelsea have been drawn against five times European champions Barcelona in the round of 16 draws as their London rivals Tottenham draw last season runners up Juventus.
A record five English clubs reached the round of 16 after the group stage this season.
Premier league leaders Manchester City will face Basel, Liverpool takes on FC Porto and Manchester United faced 5th placed La liga side Sevilla.
Real Madrid who finished behind Tottenham in group H are aiming to win the title for the 3rd time in a row will have to face Neymar’s big spending PSG.
Chelsea have undoubtedly been handed the toughest draw against Barcelona who they defeated in 2012 semifinals on their road to claiming the title that same year.
Group winners will play away in the first legs of the phase on the 13th/14th and 20th/21st February 2018 and play at home on the 6th/7th and 13th/14th of Mach 2018 as the final will be played on the 26th May 2018 in Kiev Ukraine.
