EPL: CITY'S UNBEATEN RUN ENDS AT ANFIELD

Anfield continues to be a hot ground for Manchester as they have failed to win at the arena since 2003 and were subdue to a 4-3 lost by Liverpool to end their ambition for a whole season unbeaten run.
Liverpool produced an 8.7 minutes of football to score 3 three goals within that period in the second to extend their lead to 4-1 and survived City's late scare.
The reds also extended their unbeaten run to 18 games in a match that marks their first game without Philipe Coutinho who joined Barcelona in a £142m transfer ended City's hope of unbeaten run.
Chamberlain's solo effort gave the Reds an early lead but City responded well when Leroy Sane stroke pass Karius right before halftime.
John Stones lackluster defending gave Firmino the chance to put the Reds back on tract before Sane added the third.
Ederson's poor clearance gifted Mohamed Salah a fourth, and despite their late wobble, Liverpool closed out the win to go third in the table.
While the Reds' top-four challenge goes from strength to strength, City can still reflect on a 15-point lead over Manchester United, who host Stoke on Monday.
