GIGGS APPOINTED WALES MANAGER

Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs has been confirmed as Football Association of Wales FAW Manager.
The appointment was confirmed by FAW on a their social media handle and Giggs is said have signed a four year contract with the Wales national team.
Giggs only managerial experience  came as he took charge of United on interim basis after David Moyes was sacked as Manchester United manager in 2013/2014 season as he had only a 4 game stint before becoming Luis Van Gaal's assistant for 2 years. Giggs then left Manchester United when Jose Mourinho was appointed United 's head coach in the 2016 summer.
Giggs who was capped 64 times scoring 12 goals in the process by Wales will replace Chris Coleman who left the post in November when Wales failed to qualify for the 2018 world cup in Russia and has joined Sunderland.
Some notable individuals like Robert and Craig Bellamy were said have been interviewed for the post but Wales opted for the former United man.
After his confirmation, Giggs said: "I am so proud to have been given the honour of managing the National Team. The challenges that we have ahead of us with the Nations League and qualification for Euro 2020 excite me a great deal.

"I can't wait to start working with the players as we prepare for those crucial games later in the year."
The 44 years old first target will be how to qualify Wales to Euro 2020.
