The Desert Scorpions are set to resume training on monday 8th January 2018 after their festive period break expires.
This was confirmed in a statement released by their media officer Halilu Mohammed Teli on his official facebook page and other social media handles today.
The statement reads
"After a long time break we'll resume training tomorrow Monday 8/1/18 ,as we continue with preparations for the upcoming NNL season.
The training will be at the Pantami Stadium by four o'clock in the evening".
Gombe United will play in the nation's second tier football league the Nigeria National League (NNL) after been relegated last season.
The draws for the NNL new season will be held in Lagos on Tuesday 9th January 2018 before the final match of NNL super4 competition.
