KWARA UNITED INVOLVED IN CAR ACCIDENT

NPFL new comers Kwara United were involved in a car accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Wednesday morning.
According to a statement on the club's official twitter account, the club confirmed the incident.
The twitter statement reads: "Our bus, carrying players and officials, was involved in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Express this morning, travelling to Ilorin after the NNL Super 4. We are glad to report that no life was lost in the accident, but 3 people got injured and are receiving proper treatments,"

"The three people injured are Alfred Stephen (player), Ijaya Lukman (welfare official) and a freelance cameraman. We will love to thank everyone who has sent in messages of well wishes concerning this. God bless you!"
Kwara United who gained promotion to the NPFL this season will play host to Niger Tornadoes on Sunday in its first game of the NPFL season.
