LMC MUST TAKE THE ISSUE OF SECURITY AT STADIA SERIOUS: TELI

Following the bizarre incident that took place after the first NPFL match between Katsina United and Kano Pillars at the Mohammed Dikko stadium in Katsina, sports journalist and other stake holders have continued to condemn the act.
In a media chat with Jewel sport, the Chairman Sport writers association of Nigeria SWAN Gombe state chapter Halilu Mohammed Teli condemned the act and urged the LMC to take the issue of security during matches serious.
"LMC must take the issue of security at stadia seriously by not only fines but deduction of points which I believe have great impact; management of clubs should consider organising seminars hooliganism to their teeming fans and supporters prior to the kick off of every season ". He said.
Teli used the medium to expressed hope of seen a more entertaining league this season "It's clear that we're going to see an improve arbitration and indeed the league will be intriguing because most of the clubs are very ambitious".
It is now left to see how the LMC will respond to the incident after players and and technical crew were said to have been left devastated after the match.
