In the ongoing All African Youth Games in Algiers, Algeria,
Nigeria’s youth Volleyball team beat Egypt in the final to win the gold.
In a game that was evenly contested, Nigeria emerged
victorious after five sets with a 25-23, 25-14, 23-25, 25-14 and 14-16 wins.
On their road to this glory, the youth team conquered the likes
of Tunisia, Gambia to top their pool and beat the host of the AYN Algeria in
the semi-finals to reach the final.
